Harry Kane delivered a standout performance, netting twice as Bayern Munich fended off a dramatic late surge from Holstein Kiel to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table to nine points.

Bayern appeared to be cruising to victory after storming to a 4-0 lead, but relegation-threatened Kiel staged an astonishing fightback in stoppage time, cutting the deficit to 4-3. However, they fell just short of an equalizer as Vincent Kompany’s men held firm to secure all three points.
The visitors capitalized on Kiel’s missed chances early in the game, breaking the deadlock in the 19th minute. Michael Olise’s precise through ball found Jamal Musiala, who coolly slotted past goalkeeper Timon Weiner to put Bayern ahead.
Despite the early setback, Kiel remained resilient, pressing high and troubling Bayern on the counterattack. However, England captain Harry Kane doubled the Bavarians’ advantage just before the break, expertly heading home Kingsley Coman’s pinpoint cross.

Any hopes of a Kiel comeback were quickly dashed at the start of the second half. Kane grabbed his second goal just moments after the restart, guiding Raphael Guerreiro’s delivery into the top corner with another textbook header.
Bayern’s fourth came in the 54th minute through Serge Gnabry, who showcased exceptional skill. The half-time substitute controlled a lofted pass with his right foot before unleashing a clinical left-footed finish past Weiner, seemingly sealing the contest.
